What fitness level must I have to join?
At The i Phase, we welcome all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced. We recognize that each person is different, with varying degrees of fitness. Our program is tailored to accommodate the needs of each individual, meaning we will offer alternatives and modifications for the exercises and movements.
What should I bring?
For our sessions, you will only need a yoga mat and a set of weights, ranging from either 2-5lbs, all other equipment will be supplied. Be sure to wear comfortable athletic wear, running shoes or cross trainers and most importantly bring a water bottle!
Where will we be meeting?
The i Phase is located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. All of our outdoor sessions will meet at Burnaby Central Secondary School by the track.

Why is training outdoors better?
Training outdoor exposes you to fresh air and provides an exciting, new and ever changing environment. By training on different types of terrain, your body will work at different levels and paces, helping to burn calories and fat more efficiently. Training outdoors will also work the aerobic and anaerobic systems differently than a machine in the gym would, improving balance, coordination, strength, speed and agility. By training outdoors, your body will not be restricted by the limitation of a machine.
What sets The i Phase apart from other outdoor fitness programs?
The i Phase focuses on more than simply exercise. At The i Phase, we believe in a holistic approach to health, wellness and fitness. Health and wellness are integrated states of being and fitness is a multidimensional state of being. Along with physically challenging the body, participants will receive dietary guidance, fitness assessments, goal setting support and friendly, outgoing and approachable instructors. In addition we offer information and reference materials on health, nutrition and fashion as well as FREE food, beauty and fashion products to introduce new ideas that will assist in helping you find a realistic healthy lifestyle that works for you!
Should I join for 3 days or 5 days?
Both our 3 day and 5 day sessions will produce results, however, in order to see a greater range of improvement we encourage you to join for 5 days, as a wider variety of muscles will be utilized and exercised.
What happens if I miss my scheduled class?
We understand that sometimes, life and other commitments arise. Since we at The i Phase firmly believe in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, you are more than welcome to attend any of our other scheduled classes. |
